The Croscombe area provides something for everyone. The village is a good starting point for many great walks. A few miles away are the Mendip Hills, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, which is a superb walking area with great views over the Somerset Levels. But then there's many other things to see, like Wells Cathedral (Catherine is a guide in the Cathedral and will be most happy to show you around or organise a Cathedral-tour), Glastonbury, several places connected to King Arthur, the Roman city of Bath, gardens, National Trust properties, and much more!
